1. How many are you happy with?
Most of them actually, which surprised me!
2. How many are... not great?
"Tears" is literally the prompt, and "Conversations" and "Answers and Questions" are very bland... "Coming Home" is not bad of itself, but I really wanted to find something better/more evocative for it and failed.
3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute?
When don't I scramble for titles at the last minute? Most of them, I'd say. I think the standouts might be "See It With The Lights Out", "Proud of You", and "First Mate of the Stormchaser" as they're Yule-fics which always makes me even more indecisive about titles; and "(If I Could) Fly" because I was just too busy being so mad I'd already used "Fall Down or Fly"!
4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning?
"Tears", I guess, as I've mostly used the prompt for that series unless I happened to get a better idea - and "Four times Lucius stole a kiss (and one time he didn't have to)", since it was a 4+1 times fic from pretty near the beginning (started as "This plot? Or this plot? Wait, both! And add more!").
5. How many are quotes from songs or poems?
"(If I Could) Fly" is from the Helloween song "If I Could Fly". "Ease One Life the Aching" is from “If I can stop one heart from breaking” by Emily Dickinson. "Worlds Enough and Time" is from "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvell. "See It With The Lights Out" is from "You are in love" by Taylor Swift. "Fall Down or Fly" is from Lindi Ortega's song of the same title.
6. How many are other quotes?
"Perchance to Dream" is from Hamlet. "I've Got You" is technically part of the prompt...
7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork?
I guess this has to be "Four times Lucius stole a kiss (and one time he didn't have to)", that one is vey much "what it says on the tin". "Studying, Selfies, and Hot Chocolate" is pretty descriptive of the plot, too. And despite my grumbling about it, "(If I Could) Fly" does work well as a reflection of Quill's failures and successes with Fly spells, and his whole one-winged bird person storyline.
8. Which best reflects the theme of the story/fanwork?
Hmm, "Coming Home" for Lucius's struggles to define what is home for him now? That one's also reflective of the plot though... I think "Ease One Life The Aching" reflects well the theme of Quill helping Lucius work through some trauma. "Perchance to Dream" (and the full lines of " To die, to sleep,/To sleep, perchance to Dream; aye, there's the rub,/For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come) works well for Nova's worries about Starbane magically killing her in her sleep, too.
9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/POV of the fanwork?
I suppose "I've Got You" and "Proud of You", as they're things the characters actually say in the respective works?
10. Which is your favorite?
I think it might be "Ease One Life the Aching" - I love Emily Dickinson, and I love Lucius, and I want someone to actually comfort him so bad... runners-up are probably "Beyond The Cradle", and "Studying, Selfies, and Hot Chocolate".
