I'm glad you liked those lines (I have to admit, I was rather pleased with the first one especially ;) In my headcanon, Titty hadn't had an asthma attack since she was very small, so any memories it brought back would feel a bit... fuzzy, sort of dreamlike).
I had a lot of fun researching for this fic! UK naval nurses, the ships they served on, asthma treatment in the 1940s (no inhalers then - the basic principle was actually invented by Roger Altounyan, the real Titty's brother!), what medicine a hospital ship would typically carry... my Ravenclaw brain had a ball :D
