1) How many works do you have on AO3?
244, which is more than I expected! Though some are icons or fanmixes.
2) What’s your total AO3 word count?
324,785 words (though 61,145 are from a joint fic with my sister, and she wrote most of that).
3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
I have attempted to filter this list to only fandoms with writing, removing the icon/picspam/fanmix ones, but I may have failed!

High Rollers DnD (Web Series) (36)
4) What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Putting the Baby to Bed (Anne of Green Gables - L. M. Montgomery)
Cutting Words (Critical Role (Web Series))
Cold Night (Critical Role (Web Series))
Beautiful (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries)
Catch More Flies (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries)
Putting the Baby to Bed also takes the top spot by comments. Of the other four, only Cutting Words makes it into top 5 by comments, the rest are Yule-fics - good old Yuletide!
5) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Pretty much always on AO3; fanfiction.net makes me jump through so many hoops to do anything there that I've kind of stopped... And since I don't post there any more, I very rarely get any, either. But I love comments! Come and squee with me about how much we love this fandom!
6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
I guess it's "Do Not Go Gentle" (WWII-era Swallows and Amazons, I killed everyone)... Does it count as "angstiest ending" when the entire thing is pure angst? For an alternative, maybe "Forgetting" (Narnia), or "Kite in the Rain" (Master Harold... and the Boys), those both have pretty sad ending lines.
7) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
I'm not sure... most of them probably, to be honest, I am very much more on the fluffy, or comfort side of hurt/comfort, side of fanfic. The first recent one that springs to mind is "A Better Solution" (High Rollers), in which three Noble Self-SacrificingIdiot Friends eventually figure out the friends-to-lovers transition.
8) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
I've written a couple... Annoyingly hard to find! Yes yes I should tag crossovers as such, I know :P But scrolling through, I found "Beginnings" (Narnia/Swallows and Amazons), "In The Wink Of An Eye" (Chalet School/Doctor Who, but I can't take credit for that, it was a remix of one by
thisbluespirit !), and "Mirror Mirror" (Alice Through the Looking Glass/Doctor Who). I guess that last one is the craziest?
9) Have you ever received hate on a fic?
No, not really... I did get complained at for a High School Musical ace!Kelsi & gay!Ryan fic, because a reader expected Ryan/Kelsi; but I added an introductory author's note noting it wasn't Ryan/Kelsi, and that mollified them enough they did apologise after.
10) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
On extremely rare occasions - two E-rated High Rollers fics, and three M-rated fics, one each for High Rollers, Swallows and Amazons, and Chalet School. What kind, um... Character-focused? Like, take the two E-rated ones: in "Dream Come True", Lucius and Quill are tentative and caring and sweet, and both trying so hard to look out for each other and make sure the other is comfortable; while "In the Mad Mage's Mansion" is more bittersweet, with Xiros and Yesper being snarky and competitive and antagonistic.
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of!
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
A couple were translated into Russian, if I recall correctly... I also have two that I wrote in Spanish and translated myself into English, but I posted both versions simultaneously so I don't know if that counts exactly.
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I helped my sister with "June's Diary" (Malory Towers), but she wrote it really - I was more sounding board / ignored beta / snarky dialogue provider.
14) What’s your all time favorite ship?
I don't like picking favourites! *hides* If it's "most written", that would be Quill/Lucius from High Rollers at 18 fics, with close runner-up Nell/Hilda from Chalet School at 16, and I do love them both... But I have to add John/Nancy from Swallows and Amazons in, I somehow only have three posted fics for them but I adore them with all my heart!
15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Hmm... I don't tend to post WIPs, so I'd have to go through my drive and that's too much effort for a meme :P None spring to mind immediately... There is a Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries WIP that was going to require plot and multiple chapters, but I hope I can actually finish it someday?
16) What are your writing strengths?
I think voice and characterization? Those are the things that tend to get brought up in comments, that the tone and voice match the canon / the characters well.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Plot! Who needs plot when you can just have happy little slice-of-life and missing-moment interludes ;)
18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I don't believe I've done it (well, there are the two fics I wrote both Spanish and English versions of, but that's not the same really). I may have tossed in words from other languages, maybe? Like some Spanish words peppered in in a One Day at A Time fic, but not more than that I believe. I don't object to it as long as it's translated somewhere! (I have never forgotten reading Shirley by Charlotte Brontë and its pages upon pages of plot-relevant French dialogue which was translated precisely nowhere - come on, publishers, maybe Charlotte expected that any reader would be accomplished enough to read French, but this is not the 1800s! I made it through with my aunt's old dictionary and stubbornness, but it was annoying).
19) What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Harry Potter, closely followed by LOTR, but those are not and never will be on AO3 :P
20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Oh, evil question! I can't pick a favourite out of over 200, come on. I guess I could try a favourite of the year so far... hmmm... Maybe "A Better Solution"? I spent a long time on that one and I was pretty pleased with it. Do tell me what your favourites of mine are if you'd like! :)
