I think the main theme may be "fic opens in someone's bedroom (yet is g-rated)", which applies to April, June, October, November, and December - well, In The Mad Mage's Mansion is very much not g-rated, but the non-g-rated parts don't happen in the bedroom ironically enough. It may be amusing to know that when writing out the list of months, I skipped straight from March to December... feels apt for this year!
