I know I've been kind of missing on the internet recently. Uni has been crazy; I spent hours on a lab practical (It would have helped if I hadn't done calculations wrong over and over *headdesk*), had a Calculus test today, and have an Astronomy one on Monday. Today's wasn't that great, but I'm pretty sure I'll pass, and the grades on these don't count towards anything as long as you pass. I'll probably spend most of the weekend studying for Monday (my teacher looked like he wanted to headdesk with all the questions I asked him in yesterday's class, and my inability to answer half of his!) and doing the new physics lab practical report.

The Wednesday before Easter was a friend's birthday. He lives all the way across the city, but luckily another of my friends was driving there so he took me and another friend. We managed to get slightly lost on the way there and it took us a while, even with phone calls to the friend whose birthday it was, to get back on track, but we made it eventually and we had a good time. We went down one road with the same name as one of the boys in the car - that was a pretty weird coincidence.

We took my little cousin to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D that Thursday. I liked it a lot, though I really really want to see it in English - she's a bit young for subtitles yet, so we saw it dubbed. The dubbing was way better than TV's usual standard, but it's not the same. After, she stayed the night at our house.

We had lunch at my Grandma's for Easter, and went to church in the afternoon. I very much approve of the church near my house being a chapel, not the main district church - we get services in the afternoon, so we don't have to get up early (I'm a night person, can you tell? :P). I hadn't been to church for a while, but I liked it, it was a nice service.

This week, I've been studying. And trying not to stress about the exams. I was rather aided by reading Looking for Group on several of my breaks; a friend posted a few on his facebook and I started reading it a couple of weeks ago.I find it harder to get stressed when I'm laughing. Sadly, I misread the number on the latest one and thought there were about twice the actual amount, so I read at my usual headlong pace and have caught up with it by now :(

An interesting fact: Today, in my physics class, the teacher demonstrated how a Gas thermometer works. Until last year, it used to be a lab practical, but after someone spilt mercury, the faculty decided it was too dangerous to allow students to handle it, so we got a demonstration instead. I told my dad about it, and he said he remembered being allowed to play with mercury in his school lab. How times change...
The teacher also brought some liquid nitrogen to show us. He poured some into a jug with ice and vapour started rising and flowing over the jug onto the table... it was awesome.

I think that's pretty much it as far as an update goes.

To-Do list
*Study for Astronomy
*Do physics lab
*Update OP and DB posts
*Review stories on daydverse
*Get haircut
*NOT catch cold (my house is colder than outside.  I should not have to put on my jacket when I get home. Alas, the heaters need cleaning before they can be lit.)
