I want to go too :) In the end of the book, Nancy was planning an attack on her uncle's houseboat at some point while they were camping... just for the benefit of Dick and Dorothea, who've never been camping on Wild Cat before. Not because she wants to do it herself, it's all altruistic ;)
Well, their first tents were strung on ropes between trees, with stones in pockets along the sides to keep them down. One lost most of the stones and the other's rope snapped with the movement of the trees, so they'd better be stronger.
Peggy Blackett agrees with you about storms, especially thunder! I think the others - especially Nancy and Titty - would agree more with Roger, though.
