Date: 2011-12-20 07:33 pm (UTC)No beaches all that near, alas! (There are the hill rivers, I suppose, but it's still a couple of hours driving). We do have snowmen, though maybe not quite as many as I've seen in England... about the same amount of Santas and reindeer and so on, though.
